It's always fun to see what creative pranks the official Dragon Ball team comes up with for April Fool's Day, and the announcement of the construction of Satan City in Tokyo was no exception. While fans quickly caught on to the joke, it's clear that many were still excited about the possibility of such a location. The details provided in the fake announcement, like the large billboard featuring Mr. Satan and the faithful recreation of Orange Star High School, really added to the humor.

Of course, the real-life development of the world's first Dragon Ball theme park in Saudi Arabia is no joke at all. With seven individual areas recreating iconic locations from the series, including Kame House and Capsule Corporation, along with over 30 different attractions and even multiple hotels and restaurants, it's shaping up to be an incredible experience for fans of the franchise. And let's not forget about the 70-meter-high Shenron containing a large-scale roller coaster — that's bound to be a thrilling ride!

As for the Dragon Ball Super manga, it's currently on indefinite hiatus following the passing of franchise creator Akira Toriyama. However, the series' anime adaptations are still available for streaming on various platforms, and fans can look forward to the upcoming release of Dragon Ball Daima, a brand-new anime series in which Toriyama was deeply involved, set for Fall 2024.
