While the base MP-60 Ginrai figure includes his signature gun and a smaller engine robot, it does not feature his trailer. However, fans can look forward to another release of the toy as part of the MPG-09 in the Masterpiece G line. This iteration, known as Super Ginrai, includes the trailer, which can transform into a battle station. Ginrai can combine with the trailer to assume his powerful Super Ginrai form, replicating the transformations seen in the anime series.

In Transformers: Masterforce, Ginrai was later assisted by the Godbomber, a separate character who could combine with him to become God Ginrai. While a Godbomber figure has not yet been revealed for the Masterpiece line, it is likely to be released as a separate figure in the future, allowing fans to recreate the iconic transformations and battles from the series.

Ginrai's character arc in Transformers: Super-God Masterforce adds an intriguing layer to the Transformers lore, as he transitions from a human truck driver to a powerful Cybertronian entity bonded to his Transtector. This unique transformation allows him to embody the essence of Optimus Prime, effectively becoming a potential successor to the Autobot leader. The resemblance between Ginrai's Transtector and Optimus Prime's design further highlights this connection.

In the Western release of the toy, Ginrai was known as "Powermaster Optimus Prime," reflecting his role as a Powermaster in the Transformers mythos. However, the initial release of the toy did not include Godbomber, who played a crucial role in Ginrai's evolution. Subsequent reissues of the toy included Godbomber, renamed as Apex Bomber.
