Studio Ghibli fans have reason to celebrate as the completion of Ghibli Park draws near, with the unveiling of its final area, the Valley of Witches. This new addition promises an array of enchanting attractions and dining experiences inspired by some of the studio's most beloved films.

Located on 7.1 hectares in Nagakute, Ghibli Park is divided into five distinct districts, each capturing the essence of different Ghibli movies. The Valley of Witches joins existing areas such as Mononoke Village, Dondoko Forest, Hill of Youth, and Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse, offering visitors a diverse and immersive experience.

The Valley of Witches area is dedicated to two iconic Ghibli classics, "Howl’s Moving Castle" and "Kiki’s Delivery Service." Drawing inspiration from these enchanting tales, visitors can expect to encounter the whimsical and magical atmosphere that defines these films, with a distinctly European touch.

With its final area now complete, Ghibli Park is set to become an even more enticing destination for fans of Studio Ghibli's enchanting worlds. Whether exploring the bustling streets of Kiki's Delivery Service or marveling at the wonders of Howl's Moving Castle, visitors are sure to be transported to a realm of fantasy and wonder.

The Valley of Witches at Ghibli Park promises an enchanting experience for visitors, with detailed recreations of iconic locations from beloved Studio Ghibli films. Fans can look forward to exploring replicas of Howl's castle and Kiki's bakery, complete with immersive interiors that capture the magic of these cinematic worlds.

Inside Howl's castle, visitors will find meticulously crafted rooms, including the iconic kitchen with Calcifer, Howl's bedroom, and even his bathroom. The exterior of the castle, complete with smoke billowing from its chimneys, adds to the immersive atmosphere.

Kiki's bakery, Gütiokipänjä, offers a delightful culinary experience, with a fully modeled interior featuring Kiki's attic and the Okino family's living quarters. Traditional fairground rides, inspired by Studio Ghibli films like "Laputa: Castle in the Sky," and a merry-go-round adorned with Ghibli characters, add to the fun-filled ambiance.

The Valley of Witches also boasts a variety of shops and eateries, including the Hatter Hat Store, inspired by "Howl's Moving Castle," and a bookstore designed as a library from "Earwig and the Witch." Visitors can indulge in treats from establishments like the Flying Oven and Hot Tin Roof, and shop for souvenirs at Witch Coven 13.

Excitement peaks with the introduction of the rideable Catbus from "My Neighbor Totoro," offering a whimsical journey through the park. Tickets for the Catbus ride will be available for purchase, with riders receiving a special commemorative card upon arrival at their destination.

With its opening on March 16, the Valley of Witches promises to be a magical destination for Studio Ghibli fans of all ages. Until then, enthusiasts can explore a range of merchandise collaborations, ensuring the magic of Ghibli continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
