Take's *Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!* manga is currently on hiatus due to Take's recovery from COVID-19. The official social accounts announced that the manga's new chapter, originally scheduled for this month, has been postponed.

Take mentioned that despite physically recovering from COVID-19, they are likely to experience aftereffects that affect their energy levels, making it difficult to draw at their usual pace. They continue to draw daily but have noted that their illustrations are currently "weak."

*Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!* began serialization in December 2017 and is set to release its 12th collected volume in Japan on July 9, 2024. The manga has previously inspired two anime seasons.

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the English version of *Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!* and describes the story as follows:
