"Following the success of 2022's 'Drifting Home,' 'My Oni Girl' marks the second installment of a three-picture deal between anime studio Colorido and Netflix. Scheduled for release in Japanese cinemas and on Netflix worldwide on May 24, the film treats fans to fresh footage in a music video featuring the theme song, 'Uso Janai' ('It's No Lie'), performed by Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni (ZUTOMAYO).

Directed by Tomotaka Shibayama ('A Whisker Away') and written by Shibayama along with Yuko Kakihara ('Digimon Adventure tri.'), the film stars Kensho Ono as protagonist Hiiragi Yatsuse and Miyu Tomita as Tsumugi, the titular oni girl from another dimension.
