Yuki Sato's manga "Tomodachi Game" is nearing its conclusion, as revealed in the 25th collected volume of the series. The upcoming 26th volume will mark the final installment, slated for release in fall 2024, effectively bringing the series to an end.

"Tomodachi Game" made its debut in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in December 2013 and embarked on its final arc in August 2020.

In addition to its manga run, the series has spawned two live-action drama adaptations and two live-action films. Moreover, it received a TV anime adaptation that premiered in April 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime series alongside its Japanese broadcast.

The story revolves around Yuichi and his friends, who find themselves in a dire situation after their class funds, including Yuichi's contribution for a school trip, are stolen. Subsequently, they are abducted and coerced into playing a perilous game to repay their debts, putting their bonds to the test as they navigate betrayal, secrets, and the true value of friendship against the backdrop of financial pressure.
