The latest drinkware collection from Ghibli's official online shop, Donguri Sora, celebrates the beloved films My Neighbor Totoro (1988) and Kiki's Delivery Service (1989) with adorable designs featuring Ghibli's iconic characters.

This new collection features four stainless steel bottles designed for both hot and cold beverages. Available in small (350 ml) and large (500 ml) sizes, these bottles are equipped with a "vacuum double structure" to maintain the temperature of drinks. The octagonal design not only enhances grip but also prevents the bottles from rolling on flat surfaces.

The Totoro-themed bottles (Version 1 and Version 2) showcase charming decals of Totoro holding an umbrella and accompanied by his ghost-like companion. Similarly, the Kiki-themed bottles (Version 1 and Version 2) feature delightful decals of Jiji, with different facial expressions or poses on each side.

Each bottle is sold individually, with prices ranging from 4180 yen (about US$27) to 4510 yen (approximately $29). Fans can now enjoy their favorite beverages in these enchanting drinkware pieces inspired by Studio Ghibli's timeless classics.

My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service Are Two of Studio Ghibli's Most Beloved Films

"My Neighbor Totoro" and "Kiki's Delivery Service," both masterpieces crafted by the legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, embody the essence of Studio Ghibli's storytelling prowess: breathtaking animation, deeply moving narratives, and endearing characters.

In "My Neighbor Totoro," we follow the heartwarming tale of 10-year-old Satsuki Kusakabe and her younger sister Mei, who relocate to the tranquil countryside to be closer to their ailing mother. As they explore their new surroundings, they encounter a whimsical world inhabited by forest spirits, including the gentle giant known as Totoro. This enchanting encounter becomes a source of comfort and joy for the sisters, resonating with audiences worldwide and solidifying its status as a Ghibli classic.

On the other hand, "Kiki's Delivery Service" presents a charming coming-of-age narrative centered around the young witch Kiki. Striving to find her place in the world, Kiki embarks on a journey of self-discovery in a bustling seaside town, where she harnesses her magical abilities to establish a delivery service. Alongside her steadfast companion, the wise-cracking black cat Jiji, Kiki navigates the challenges of adolescence with courage and determination, inspiring viewers with her resilience and spirit.

Both films captivate audiences with their timeless themes of friendship, resilience, and the wonders of imagination. Through Miyazaki's visionary direction and the studio's unparalleled craftsmanship, "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" continue to enchant viewers of all ages, leaving an indelible mark on the world of animation.

Donguri Sora's extensive lineup of Totoro and Kiki-themed merchandise caters to fans' every need, offering a delightful array of products ranging from miniature figurines and pillow covers to bento boxes and mini-vases. For those looking to infuse their daily routines with a touch of Ghibli magic, the shop even offers body fragrance sprays inspired by these beloved films.

Fans in the U.S. can enjoy the enchanting adventures of Totoro and Kiki through streaming services like Max. With the films readily accessible online, viewers can immerse themselves in the heartwarming tales whenever they please.

Moreover, the excitement doesn't end there. Both "My Neighbor Totoro" and "Kiki's Delivery Service" are set to grace the silver screen once again as part of Ghibli Fest 2024, a highly anticipated event that brings the timeless classics back to theaters for audiences to experience on the big screen. With the opportunity to relive these cinematic masterpieces in theaters, fans can look forward to a nostalgic journey filled with wonder and nostalgia.
